Qualifications / Work Environment
- Drug-Free Workplace: We conduct drug screenings and random tests before and during employment.
- Background Checks: Many customers have background requirements that we’ve set our hiring criteria to match.
- Driver’s Licenses: Most positions are required to drive company vehicles, and maintain valid driver’s licenses and acceptable driving records. We regularly run motor vehicle reports.
- Variable Scheduling: To meet customer demands, we work based on their schedule, which require occasional work shifts to include night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- On-Call Rotation: In addition to the work schedule, employees in most departments work an on-call rotation and must be available during this period.
- Travel: Positions in some departments require travel and overnight stays out of town to customer sites. Per diem, lodging, and transportation are all covered by Hill Services.
