Industrial Services CDL Operator

HydroBlasting Jet & Vacuum Truck Operator
Pay up to $28/hr, based on experience

The Industrial Services CDL Operator is responsible for the tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

This position manages crews and also performs the successfully operation of water blasting, industrial vacuuming, tank cleaning, hydro excavation, surface cleanup, chemical cleaning, and more. The CDL Operator requires professionalism to regularly communicate with customers to assess our effectiveness to meeting their needs. Work in performed in diverse environments, sometimes outdoors, in confined spaces, at heights, elevated noises.

Position Requirements

  • Training: Successfully pass all exams in our paid one-week training program
  • Experience: Ability to drive both manual and automatic commercial vehicles is required; a background in construction (or related fields) and heavy machinery is a plus
  • Skills: Mechanically inclined, sound judgment, strong work ethic, effective communication, professionalism
  • Physical: Fit for strenuous tasks, comfortable in confined spaces and at heights, able to lift 50-75 lbs, able to work while standing for 8+ hours, able to climb stairs
  • Schedule: Variable, some travel and overnight stays covered by the company, and on-call rotation

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Class A or B CDL, with Tanker Endorsement
  • Able to drive both manual and automatic commercial vehicles
  • Must pass a 7-year criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Able to obtain respirator fitness and audiometric certification
