Pay up to $22/hr, based on experience
The Plumbing Apprentice works with Plumbers to service plumbing systems in commercial and industrial customers in the Memphis, TN metro area. This position typically performs general labor, learns to operator heavy machinery, is exposed to harsh conditions. The Plumbing Apprentice can also take the Journeyman Plumber test after 3 years of documented experience to advance their career path.
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Knowledge on using heavy equipment is a plus
- Dependable, hard-working, able to pass a fitness to duty test
- Must pass a 7 year criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- Able to pass a respirator fitness and audiometric test
- Able to pass ongoing drug screens
- Availability to work on-call once every 4-6 weeks
